The 41st Annual 'Ukulele Festival
July 17, 2011

Kanile`a 'Ukulele will be present at the 38th Annual 'Ukulele Festival at Kapiolani Park on Sunday, July 27th. Joe, Kristen and the Kanile`a crew look forward to meeting you at their booth. We will have several instruments available to sample. Please come, visit and enter to win a Kanile'a 'Ukulele. We look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have!

February 2011

3rd Annual Ukulele Picnic 2011 at Kaka`ako Park, Honolulu on February 13th.  Come by Kanile`a `Ukulele's booth and enjoy a day full of everything 'ukulele!

Ukulele Club of Hawai`i meeting at the Windward Mall Center Court.  May meeting will be conducted by Hawaiian Music Legend Kenneth Makuakane.  Thursday February 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  Bring your `ukulele and your family for everyone is welcome to this free event. 

October 2010

Joe and Kristen will be "representing" once again at the Southern California Ukulele Festival. This will be the first year that Kanile`a will have a booth.   Joe will be conducting two "Traditions and Technologies" workshops at 9:00 am and 12:45 pm.  Kanile`a `Ukulele artist Aldrine Gurerro will be teaching ukulele techniques along with performing at the Luau.  It will be a day full of performances, workshops and a whole lot of ukulele items to immerse yourself in.  Mark your calendar because on Saturday, October 2nd, the place to be for all `ukulele lovers will be at the Southern California Ukulele Festival.

 

September 2010

Christmas time is coming quick.  So, The Ukulele Club is gearing up for some Christmas caroling around Windward Mall.  Braddah Sam will be conducting this month with Christmas on his mind.
Join us on September 16th, from 5:30 to 7:30 for a Ho, Ho, Ho, Whole bunch of fun while we learn some classic Christmas Carols.

 

December 2009

Mele Kalikimaka ia kakou! (Merry Christmas to everyone).  The Ukulele Club of Hawai`i had a great time Christmas Caroling and dinner at IHOP in the Windward Mall.  A big MAHALO to Bruddah Sam, Lina Girl and the whole UCH in making our first annual event such a success!

November 2009

Kanile`a `Ukulele will be at the 8th annual Ukulele Guild of Hawaii's Annual Exhibit.  Come and support the local ukulele builders as they display their fine work.
