Computer Numerically Controlled Technology has been an incredible addition to the musical instrument industry. Kanile'a has embraced this technology and has been able to incorporate and appreciate the accuracies and tolerances that has been part of the guitar industry for over 30 years.

The incorporation of a C02 laser cutter to the Kanile'a building process has introduced a new level of accuracy. Every instruments front, back, sides and head-plate are cut in our laser. Along with CNC created templates and jigs that are accurate to 0.001 thousandths of an inch. Upon completion, each component receives its "final touches" by our artisans to ensure consistency and accuracy.
