Upon completion of the application of UV cured polyester based finish, each instrument gets a controlled exposure to UV light. This is not an oven like most people think, in actuality heat hinders the curing process. So, there is a series of fans and cooling duct work that allows the ambient temperature inside the box to stay cool which allows for proper curing of the finish. Here, Kevin just completed this instruments’ 90 second cycle of UV exposure and is ready to continue with final sanding.
