Based on the foundation of the K-1 model’s resonance, sustain and intonation, the K-2 offers up features that add a classy touch to your Kanile`a. The Black-White-Black thin rosette is elegant in its styling while the black top binding is both aesthetic and functional, providing an extra seal of the sound board to the sides of the body.

For 4-string concert, soprano or tenor instruments, please specify in checkout if you would like a Kanile`a Exclusive Phosphor Bronze low G installed
Each instrument we build, with the exception of an 8-string, may be equipped with a “G” fourth course (196Hz) fixed with a 0.029″ Phosphor Bronze wire-wrapped nylon-core string for no extra charge. The woven “low G-string” is tuned an octave lower, which gives a richer sound and opens a wider picking range.
