Nut and Saddle

Keeping your ʻukulele action true and properly intonated.

White NuBone

The standard nut and saddle choice for K-1, KPA, HNS, ISL ʻukulele. NuBone is an upgrade over traditional bone for the nut and saddle, engineered to share tonal characteristics of bone without suffering from grain spots and variable density that is common with bone. The saddle is compensated for accurate intonation all the way up the neck.

Black TUSQ

The standard nut and saddle choice for KTR, Pōhaku and ʻIlikai ʻukulele. Black TUSQ is denser than NuBone, offering better transfer from the saddle through to the soundboard, giving the ʻukulele more punch and resonance while maintaining balance between all the strings. The graphite infused throughout the material gives a natural lubrication to the strings, allowing the string to slide through the nut slot without damaging the string. Plus, it just looks plain cool!
