Black Friday: A First for Kanile`a

For the first time ever, Kanile`a `Ukulele opened its retail doors for a short time on #BlackFriday and #SmallBusinessSaturday. Needless to say, it was an overwhelming success!!
“Kanile`a is a family-run business (husband-wife team Joe & Kristen Souza with their three sons Kaimana, Iokepa and Kahiau) so Thanksgiving has always been a time for our Krew to enjoy a four-day weekend of family, food and fun,” said Lina Langi, public and artist relations specialist. “This year we decided to jump in on the Black Friday madness with a short, crazy opportunity for our Kanile`a enthusiasts – just two hours long from 8-10 a.m. – and make it fun!”
And oh, what fun it was!!!
The first five purchases in-store or over the phone received $500 off their purchase of a world-class Kanile`a instrument. All other shoppers enjoyed $200 or 15% off, whichever was the greater savings AND every purchase over $100 scored a coveted Kanile`a `Ukulele shirt for FREE. The second offer was available all through #CyberMonday.
Kanile`a fans heard about the incredible deals and camped out until the doors opened at 8 a.m. When first-in-line customer Tim (he was out front since 5:45 a.m.) made a light quip of getting some coffee and donuts while they wait, the Kanile`a Krew delivered. Once the doors were open, our enthusiastic sales team including Micah Kaina and Sasha Feagins, greeted the customers with smiles and aloha then the #BlackFriday madness ensued! Shortly after, Tim walked out with a gorgeous Kanile`a KCS Concert Premium `ukulele , the first of five lucky customers to receive $500 off their Kanile`a instrument purchase.
