Krystal Hiʻileialohalani Mokuahi was born and raised in Papakolea, Oʻahu. She graduated from Lutheran High School, attended Kapiolani Community College and received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. She is currently a Junior at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, majoring in communications.

Growing up Krystal was always surrounded by music, especially through endless karaoke parties. Her parents made sure to fill her ears with music that filled her soul. It is because of them that she formed this passion for music and performing. From a very young age Krystal dreamed of pursuing a career in the performing arts field. She was blessed with this opportunity 4 years ago as a founding member of the group Ke `Olu. Coming together and forming a beautiful bond with her two best friends, Hiʻilani Asing and Cory Mau, has been the best decision of her life. She is very honored and proud to be able to trail this musical journey with these two talented individuals.
